wines before bottling. Besides polishing the wine to brilliance,
filtering helps to eliminate potential sediment. Filtered wine will age
and taste better in the long run.
However, decent wine filters are not cheap, and most hobby wine makers do not filter their wines, I would say 98% of them don't
There are other clarifying agents that do a fine job helping you achieve great results.
Don't get us wrong, wine filters are wonderful, but don't let expense or the lack of having one stop you from exploring the wonderful world of wine making.
